The Bangor, Maine Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners propels women entrepreneurs in to economic, social, and political spheres of power.

Bangor Chapter's History:

Since 2004 NAWBO Bangor has been educating, empowering and promoting women business owners.  In its history, NAWBO Bangor has supported many women business owners through educational programs and honored women who excel in their fields.

NAWBO Bangor invites you to join its members to experience success in all economic, political and social arenas.  As a premier organization focused on supporting women in business, NAWBO Bangor desires to remain relevant to our members and provide benefits that impact the bottom line.

We would be proud and happy to have you among the successful women business owners in our chapter.  It is our desire to build upon the foundation laid by prior administrations to provide you with substantial direct benefits from membership.  You will find many of those benefits listed here. Importantly, you will be able to count among those benefits the opportunity to network and share ideas with women like you, women with the courage to put their dreams into action.

Marion Syversen started NAWBO Bangor, presently the only NAWBO chapter in Maine, NH or VT, in February 2004.
